1.62 trillion riyals .. The size of the reserve assets of Saudi Arabia abroad

The reserve assets of Saudi Arabia abroad, at the end of last January, recorded 1.628 trillion riyals, low 0.7%, on a monthly basis, compared to 1.639 trillion riyals last December.
The monthly statistical bulletin issued by the Saudi Central Bank, “Sama”, showed that abroad decreased on an annual basis last January, by 1%, compared to 1.646 trillion riyals in the same month of last year.

Reserve assets abroad

According to the bulletin, investments in securities abroad declined on a monthly and annual basis, registering 985.152 billion riyals.
And the deposits abroad during last January, 553.046 billion riyals, registered on a monthly basis, while it decreased on an annual basis.
The status of the International Monetary Fund last January reached 11.939 billion riyals, up on a monthly basis, while it decreased on an annual basis.
Last January, special withdrawal rights recorded 76.995 billion riyals, high on a monthly basis, while it decreased on an annual basis.
