Jarir’s profits increased to 253.5 million riyals in the first quarter of 2026

Jarir Marketing Company’s profits increased in the first quarter of 2026 by 16.7% to 253.5 million riyals, compared to 217.3 million riyals in the same quarter of last year.
According to the company’s statement on the Saudi Tadawul website, the reason for the increase in net profit is due to an increase in total profit, which rose by 12.9% as a result of the increase in sales.
Although selling and marketing expenses and general and administrative expenses, The non-operating expenses side (after deducting other revenues) increased in total, but they represented a smaller percentage as a percentage of total profit compared to last year, which led to a greater increase in net profit compared to the increase in total profit, as the increase reached 16.7%
Despite the decrease in sales by 4.9%, the total profit on a quarterly basis witnessed a greater decrease, as the percentage of decrease reached 15.2%, and this is mainly due to the relative decrease in the profitability margin on the sales of some departments compared to In the previous quarter.
According to the statement, although selling, marketing, general and administrative expenses, in addition to non-operating expenses (after deducting other revenues), decreased in total, they represented a higher percentage of total profit compared to the previous quarter, which led to a greater decrease in net profit compared to the decrease in total profit, as the decrease reached 18.2%.
