BCI’s profits decreased to 40.39 million riyals in 2024
The net profit of the Basic Chemical Industries Company (BCI) decreased in 2024, by 8.2% to 40.39 million riyals, compared to 43.98 million riyals in 2023.
According to the company’s statement on Saudi Arabia’s circulation, the reason for the decrease in the net profit during the current year compared to the similar period of the previous year is that, despite the increase in sales and the decrease in financing costs, this decrease is mostly the result of a rise in public and administrative expenses, zakat tax and a decrease in profits from selling fixed assets and other operating income.
