His Excellency the Minister of Information, Professor Salman bin Youssef Al -Dossary, said: Today, we lost one of the former leaders of the Ministry of Information, colleague Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al -Aqil, former undersecretary of the internal media of the Ministry.

42 years in the Ministry of Culture and Information

And Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Saleh Al -Aqil spent 42 years in the Ministry of Culture and Information, during which he is transferred in a number of jobs and positions.
Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Al -Aqil, the former general advisor and supervisor, retired from the Ministry’s internal media, as of 1/7/1436 AH.
In 1418 AH Al -Aqil obtained a doctorate in the jurisprudence of the language with the first honors level
He also received intensive English language courses at the Institute of Public Administration and in Britain.

Courses and training

He received a course in the English language study at the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh for a year.
He also received a course in Britain in the English language for a period of two years and a course in diplomatic behavior.

Jobs and positions

Before assuming the position of Assistant Undersecretary for Internal Media, he worked in most sectors of the ministry, from the Secretary General of the Director General of the Saudi Press Agency for the Director General of Publications, the Director General of Media Centers and the General Supervisor of Public Library.
He was supervising the implementation of “the system of publications and publishing, the system of press institutions, the copyright protection system, and the supervision of Umm Al -Qura newspaper.”
Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Al -Aqeel also assumed the chairmanship of the three media violations committees (the Press Violations Committee, Publications and Publishing Committee, and the author of the author “formerly”), before the issuance of the high order to transfer them from administrative committees to judicial committees.
And in the internal and external tasks, such as the same cultural characteristic, and participated in a number of seminars and meetings in cultural and media issues.

His efforts in administrative development

In administrative development, he was charged with studying and developing procedures in internal media with a work team from the Ministry and the Institute of Public Administration, and contributed to the development of libraries.
He supervised the preparation and issuance of a number of (books – photos – brochures) and issuing press appendices in languages ​​(English, French, Persian, Malawiya and Hindi), in addition to understanding with press institutions regarding their contents and distribution.
He worked as a cooperative professor with Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University – Master and Higher Diploma.

• Among his books are the phrase connected in the Arabic and English language (a corporate study) in 1410 AH.
• The book of the owner in 1414 AH. The Arabs were literature in 1414 AH.
• A dictionary (what is relied upon in the additive and added to it), which is a large linguistic dictionary that exceeded 1300 pages.
• He won the Literary Club Award in Riyadh in 1433 AH
