The competent authorities in Abu Dhabi are dealing with a third fire in the vicinity "Kizad" As a result of falling shrapnel and additional injury to a sixth person
ABU DHABI, 28 March / WAM / The competent authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi confirmed that the previously announced incident, resulting from the falling of shrapnel in the vicinity of the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – Kizad, following the successful interception of a ballistic missile by the air defences, resulted in a third fire.
It also confirmed that an additional person of Pakistani nationality was injured as a result of the accident, bringing the total number of injuries to six, ranging from light to moderate injuries.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office stated that the competent authorities succeeded in controlling the three fires and are now continuing cooling operations. The competent authorities call on the public to obtain information from official sources only, and to avoid circulating rumors or unreliable information.
