المملكة: Air fluctuations and rain on the eastern and the regions of the Kingdom until Monday

The eastern region is witnessing during the coming days a state of weather fluctuations, as it is expected of varying thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds that may lead to a low level of horizontal visibility and high waves on the coast, with the possibility of torrential flow in some areas.
According to the expectations of the National Meteorological Center, these weather fluctuations will start from Thursday, March 6, 2025, and will continue until Monday, March 10, 2025, as it will include most regions of the Kingdom with varying degrees of abundance.

A rainy atmosphere on most regions of the Kingdom

The weather analyst at the National Meteorological Center Aqil Al -Aqil said that most of the Kingdom will be affected by a rainy state starting from Thursday, March 6, 2025, and will continue until Monday, March 10, 2025.

He added that this weather will vary in intensity between light, medium and heavy rains, with the possibility of torrential flow in some areas as a result of the density of rainfall.
He also explained that the situation will be accompanied by active winds that are dusty and dust, which may lead to a low level of horizontal visibility in some areas, in addition to the cold in some high parts and the height of waves on the affected coast.

Affected areas

Al -Aqil pointed out that the most affected areas in this situation include the northern borders, Al -Jawf, Tabuk, Hail, Al -Qassim, Riyadh, the Eastern Region, Makkah, Madinah, Al -Baha, Asir and Jazan, as the amounts of precipitation will range from light, medium and abundant rains.
Al -Aqeel explained the affected areas and the details of the weather situation, which are in the northern border. The cities of Tarif, Arar, Rafha, and Al -Awadi will witness heavy rains on Thursday, Friday 6 and 7 March 2025, followed by light to medium rains on Sunday and Monday 9 and 10 March 2025.
In the Al -Jouf region, the cities of Qurayyat, Sakaka, Tabarjal and Dumat Al -Jandal will be affected by heavy rains on Thursday and Friday 6 and 7 March 2025, with a light to medium on Sunday and Monday 9 and 10 March 2025.
As for the Tabuk region, the cities of Tabuk, the field, Al -Bada, Dhahr, Al -Wajh and Tayma, medium rains on Thursday and Friday 6 and 7 March 2025, will be witnessed, with light rains continued on Sunday and Monday 9 and 10 March 2025.

Hail and Al -Qassim

In the region of Hail, the cities of Hail, Al -Ghazala, Al -Shamli, Wall, Al -Sinan, Baqa, Samara, Al -Salimi, and a position with moderate to heavy rains on Thursday and Friday 6 and 7 March 2025, with light to medium rains continued on Sunday and March 9 and 10 March 2025.
As for the Qassim region, which includes the cities of Buraidah, Unaizah, Riyadh, experts, Al -Bukayriyah, Al -Badai, the eyes of the air, the guilty, the chamomics, the tourists, the anhana, the mind of the hawks, and Dahriya, it is expected that it will be affected by medium to heavy rains on Thursday, Friday 6 and 7 March 2025, then turns into light into medium on Sunday and Monday 9 and 10 March 2025.

Riyadh, the Eastern Region and Mecca

In the Riyadh region, the capital will witness Riyadh, the cities of Diriyah, Diama, Al -Mazahiya, Al -Quwai’iya, Al -Harb, Houta Bani Tamim, Al -Dalam, Al -Kharj, Ramah, Radia, Shaqra, Mutarat, Al -Majma’a, Al -Zulfi, and Al -Ghat, moderate to heavy rains during the period from Thursday to Saturday 6 to 8 March 2025, and then lower to light to medium rains on Sunday and Monday 9 and 10 March 2025.
In the eastern region, it is expected that the cities of Hafar Al -Batin, Al -Olaya, Al -Khafji and Al -Naeariya village will be affected by heavy rains during the period from Thursday to Saturday 6 to 8 March 2025, while the cities of Dammam, Al -Khobar, Al -Qatif, Ras Tanura, Jubail, Abqaiq and Al -Ahsa will witness moderate to heavy rains during the same period, with the possibility of light rains continued on Monday 10 March 2025.
In the Makkah Al -Mukarramah region, the cities of Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al -Marafiyat, Rania, Al -Moya and Al -Khramma will witness moderate to heavy rains on Thursday and Friday 6 and 7 March 2025, while it will be light to moderate during the period from Saturday to Monday 8 to 10 March 2025.
It is expected that the cities of Al -Laith and Al -Qunfudhah will be affected by light to medium rains on Thursday and Friday 6 and 7 March 2025, while the Holy Capital and Jumum and Bahra will witness light rains on Thursday 6 March 2025 only.

This weather is expected to accompany active winds that may reach a speed of 50 kilometers per hour, and high -speed offensive winds that may reach 60 kilometers per hour, with the possibility of torrential flow in some areas and the cold falling heavily in some locations, along with the height of the waves on the coasts affected by this weather and the possibility of material damage as a result of strong thunderstorms.
Aqil Al -Aqil called on all citizens and residents to take the utmost caution and caution during this period, especially in the areas expected to be affected by torrents and cold fall, as he advised not to be present in the valleys and areas of water gathering, avoid driving during heavy rains, and fixing the bodies that are moved by strong winds.
