المملكة: Children’s hospitality centers at the Grand Mosque … a safe and educational environment to serve visitors and pilgrims
The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque continue to provide its distinguished services to visitors to the Sacred House of God, and among these services comes the hospitality centers of children, which provide a safe and enriching environment for children, which gives parents the opportunity to perform their worship with comfort and reassurance during the blessed Ramadan season.
Development of children’s capabilities
The centers contribute to providing integrated educational and recreational programs aimed at developing the capabilities of children and enhancing their Islamic values, as activities include teaching the Holy Quran and dhikr, in addition to simulating educational stories that carry educational meanings, as well as sensory and creative activities that motivate children to interact and innovate.
Daily healthy meals are also provided to ensure a balanced nutrition for children during their presence in the centers.
Centers and age groups
The seasonal centers are distributed in several locations inside the Grand Mosque, the most prominent of which are in the third Saudi expansion (region 12-15), as well as against the doors of 100-104, which can be easily accessible and benefit from its services.
Centers receive male age groups from 1.5 to 6 years, while females can benefit from services until 9 years old.
The centers operate during the Ramadan season 24 hours, in a move aimed at facilitating the experience of visitors and enabling them to perform their rituals with comfort, in light of a safe and comfortable environment for their children, where care is provided under the supervision of specialized cadres concerned with the aspects of education, entertainment and education in proportion to the needs of children in this age group.
