Current developments in Syria fall within the expected challenges

Arab media quoted Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara as saying today that the current developments in the country are within the “expected challenges” with the continued clashes between the forces related to the new Syrian rulers and gunmen from the Alawite community belonging to the ousted President Bashar al -Assad in the coastal region of the country.

Al -Sharaa called for national unity during his appearance in a video recording carried by Arab media and was speaking from a mosque in Damascus.
