المملكة: The summer vacation period and the date of its start .. Teachers 52 days and students 59 days

The Ministry of Education revealed the details of the summer vacation for the academic year 2024-2025, as teachers and teachers will receive a 52-day leave, starting from June 26, 2025 and ending with their return to teaching on August 17, 2025.
As for male and female students, they will get a longer 59-day leave, starting from June 26, 2025 and ending on August 24, 2025, which is the start of the new academic year 2025-2026.

The Ministry has set the date for the return of educational supervisors and educational and administrative bodies to schools on August 12, 2025, in order to complete the preparations and ensure the readiness of educational facilities before receiving male and female students.

Preparing plans

The Ministry confirmed that the preparation plans for the next academic year include improving the school environment and developing educational curricula, in addition to enhancing the use of modern technologies to support modern and interactive education methods.
The Ministry also seeks to raise the efficiency of educational and educational bodies through specialized training programs that keep pace with developments in the education sector.

This arrangement comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Education to achieve the target of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in developing the education sector, by enhancing the quality of the educational process, raising the level of academic achievement, and ensuring the alignment of curricula with the requirements of the labor market.

The Ministry also seeks to enhance the role of extracurricular activities and enrichment programs to support the development of male and female students in various fields, which contributes to preparing a distinguished generation, cognitive and skillfully.

The Ministry continues its efforts in the digital transformation in education by employing smart systems in the educational process, and enabling teachers and students to reach advanced educational content that enhances the learning experience.
