The President of the State discusses the Somali president, the brotherly relations between the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, who is on a work visit to the state, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Vice President of the Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

His Highness and the Somali President – during the meeting that took place at the Al -Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi – exchanged congratulations and wishes on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan … asking God Almighty to bring him back to the two countries and their people with good, blessing and prosperity.

His Highness the President of the State and the Somali President discussed the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, especially with regard to the efforts to achieve development and stability in brotherly Somalia.

In this context, President Hassan Sheikh praised the role of the UAE and its continuous support to the Republic of Somalia in various fields, especially supporting development efforts to achieve the aspirations of its people towards development, stability and prosperity.
