"Sharjah charity" The competition concludes "Read" For the Holy Quran in Bangladesh

Sharjah, March 11/ WAM/ The Sharjah Charitable Society concluded yesterday, the activities of the “Iqra” competition to memorize the Holy Quran organized annually in Bangladesh.

The competition witnessed the participation of 626 students, including 86 of the blind and blind, which reflects the interest in the competition and the great role it plays in encouraging students to continue their career to memorize the Holy Quran.

The results resulted in the victory of 51 participants in the first places, including 36 students from the sighted and 15 blind and blind, after a strong competition that showed the extent of dedication to the participants in the mastery of the Book of God.

Mohamed Abdel -Rahman Al Ali, director of the guarantee and orphanage department at the Sharjah Charitable Society, said that the competition comes within the framework of the continuous efforts of the association to support the memorizers of the Holy Quran and enhance Islamic values ​​between emerging generations, according to the highest standards to ensure the provision of a fair competitive environment that encourages students to excel and creativity in memorizing and reciting.

He added that the competition embraced several prominent educational sites in the cities of Dhaka and Sait, where the students participated in competitive tests aimed at assessing the extent of their mastery of memorization and intonation, with the participation of a group of arbitrators specializing in the science of the Holy Quran, noting that the association was keen to crown the winners in two separate parties, the first held in Daka and the second in Skat.

Al -Ali stressed that the ‘Iqra’ competition for memorizing the Holy Quran is one of the most prominent activities that the Sharjah Charitable Society is keen to organize annually in a number of countries, with the aim of encouraging young people to preserve the book of God and master its recitation and consolidate Islamic values ​​in them, and this initiative reflects the association’s commitment to its humanitarian and developmental message in spreading and teaching the Holy Qur’an.
