"Space 42" and"Fibs" They declare their partnership to develop global communications

Abu Dhabi, March 11 / WAM / Speus 42 announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with “Fayas” company to explore the means of cooperation with the aim of establishing a joint initiative concerned with the development of the fifth generation networks of space communications (5G NTN).
This cooperation between the two companies is an important step towards strengthening the space telecom sector at the global level, enabling them to meet the increasing demand for direct communication solutions between devices and satellites (D2D), and the narrow range of the Internet (NB-IOT), as well as moving satellite communication services from the current and next generations.
“Space 42” and “Fassas” are conducting in the first stage of this partnership a series of technical and commercial studies funded by partners, with the aim of developing a participatory or multi -tenant infrastructure and multi -orbit for the 5G NTN (5G NTN) network based on an open structure based on international standards.
This infrastructure aims to support a wide range of frequency spectra, including the two widely frequent ranges (LS BAND) and the ground hesitation, which contributes to enhancing the possibility of global roaming among regional network operators.
Under this partnership, the two companies explore innovative technologies and designs of sustainable systems to enhance the efficiency of satellite networks and align them with fifth generation network models, while ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements in different countries, and cooperation depends on the best practices and guidance of the sector developed by the MSA (MSSA), while benefiting from the licensed hesitation spectrum For mobile communications satellites and open -operating open designs that are based on the standards of the third generation partnership project (3GPP), to ensure smooth integration with global communications networks.
This cooperation constitutes a pivotal step in strengthening the global telecommunications sector via satellites through adoption of open and evaluation structure, noting that new horizons in the areas of direct communication between devices and satellites (D2D), the Internet of Things (IOT), and mobile communications services via Industrial satellites (MSS), by establishing a system based on mutual innovation, inter -operation and open standards.
In turn, Mark Dankberg, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that the current partnership with “Space 42” will allow the development of the next generation of infrastructure, by taking advantage of the innovative designs based on the standards of the fifth generation non -ground networks.
