This came in his speech at the activities of the “Sira” week for the complex energy in the American city of Houston, in which he called for the application of stable and long -term policies to meet the growing global demand for energy, explaining that the world has become aware that energy is the key to the solution, the main engine for the growth of economies and the achievement of prosperity and support for all aspects of human development, stressing the importance of taking practical steps to encourage growth and investment and develop supportive policies For the energy sector to contribute to enabling individuals and societies to grow and progress.
His Excellency stressed the world’s need for all energy options, and the need to diversify the mixture of its sources to meet the rapid growth of global demand for it.
He said: By 2035, the world’s population will reach about 9 billion people, and in line with this growth, the demand for oil will increase from 103 to 109 million barrels at least per day, as the demand for liquefied natural gas and chemicals will increase by more than 40%, and the total demand for electricity will increase from 9,000 GW to 15,000 GW, which represents a significant increase of 70%, so we will need more natural gas Licer, low -carbon oil, peaceful nuclear energy, and more widespread and applicable renewable energy sources.
He explained that, thanks to the forward -looking vision of the rational leadership, the UAE has been a forerunner for decades in adopting a positive and comprehensive view of the energy sector, which contributed to the consolidation of its role in various energy sources, including oil and gas, renewable energy, peaceful nuclear energy, chemicals, and future low carbon energy, indicating that the UAE, based on its expertise extending for seven decades as a responsible product For oil and gas, in 2006 it established the “Masdar” company, whose current production capacity of clean and renewable energy is widely published and applied globally 51 GB, to cut half the road towards its goal to reach 100 GB by 2030, and the UAE has added peaceful nuclear energy to its power mix through four reactions that currently generate 5.6 GB of electricity to provide 25% of her energy needs.
He pointed out that the UAE succeeded in transferring its realistic and practical methodology from the energy sector to the global climate work system during its hosting of the COP28 conference, which contributed to reaching the historical “Emirates Agreement”, which was the most important realistic climate achievement in recent years, and succeeded in uniting the efforts of the international community to adopt a practical methodology that takes into account the market requirements instead of focusing on adopting unacceptable decisions, as the agreement stressed the importance of ensuring energy security Providing it at a soft cost from reliable sources to achieve sustainable progress.
His Excellency shed light on the great capabilities of artificial intelligence that allows him to contribute to the reformulation of the future of the world, and he said: Applications such as “GBT Chat” can be consumed by a ten -time energy compared to what a simple search process consumes on Google, and with the increase in the use of these applications rapidly, it is expected that energy consumption in data centers in the United States will rise three times by 2030, To make up more than 10% of its total electricity consumption.
He added that saving energy is a prerequisite for expanding the scope of the use of artificial intelligence, because the real cost of artificial intelligence solutions and tools not only includes the formulation of its software and codes, but rather the volume of energy it needs, explaining that superiority in the field of artificial intelligence depends heavily on energy, and that success will be an ally of those who guarantee access to energy supplies, its distribution network and its infrastructure.
He pointed out that there are great opportunities available to the “XRG” company, the leading international investment energy company, to implement more qualitative investments in the United States of America, and to develop partnerships across various sectors, including areas of interconnection between artificial intelligence and energy, and said that “XRG” focuses on meeting the energy requirements needed to support the growth and development of solutions and tools of artificial intelligence by relying on a varied mix of sources, explaining that superiority In the field of artificial intelligence, it depends on energy, which is a fundamental factor that enables its solutions and tools to contribute to reformulating the future of the world.

He added: In cooperation with “AIC”, our joint project with “Bressate”, we have developed innovative global -level solutions to meet our specialized needs, and “ADNOC” is currently using more than 200 tools and application of artificial intelligence through its various operations, including exploration, refining, logistical services and strategic decisions, as ADNOC has developed a solution “artificial intelligence for future energy”, based on the use of systems “AI agents” and began its application on an unprecedented scale for the first time in the world, and the company also succeeded in using artificial intelligence solutions to accelerate geophysical analysis in the field of exploration, development and production to reach several hours after it took months, indicating to continue to improve the accuracy of predictions related to production operations to reach 90%, within the focus on consolidating the status of “ADNOC” The energy company is the most useful of artificial intelligence in the world.
