5 open water races within the Dubai International Water Games Championship

Dubai, March 12/WAM/The Emirates Swimming Federation announced the organization of 5 swimming racing competitions in the Dubai International Water Games 2025, which Dubai will be hosted from March 21 to April 21.
Omar Al Hammadi, director of the open water swimming championship, explained that the races are held over the day 5 and 6 April, and include competitions designed for various levels and groups, with the aim of providing an opportunity for everyone to participate and gain experience.
He stated that racing categories include swimming for 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 2.5 km, and 5 km in the open water at Jumeirah Beach.
He added that the championship is a special opportunity for those wishing to participate from within the country to contact the world’s swimming elite and gain new experiences, in addition to motivating them to provide their best levels during the competitions.
The “Dubai International Water Games Championship 2025” witnesses the participation of more than 3000 athletes from 40 countries from different continents of the world, and includes 5 water sports, which are diving, water ball, artistic swimming, swimming in open waters, and swimming.
