Emirates Airlines ends the renewal of 48 aircraft on its fleet

Emirates Airlines reported that it has completed, during the current week, the renewal and modernization of 48 aircraft in its fleet, as part of the update program, which is the largest of its kind in the industry in the world, with investments of about five billion dollars (18.35 billion dirhams), including 220 aircraft.
The company told «Emirates Today» that the renovation of 29 Airbus A380 aircraft, in addition to 19 Boeing 777 within its fleet, has been completed, pointing out that renewal and modernization operations come within the framework of the carrier’s commitment to providing an unparalleled experience for travelers in the atmosphere.
The Emirates Engineering Center is responsible for managing and implementing comprehensive modernization work in the internal compartments of the fleet, where more than 250 employees are currently working on the project, around the clock, and with the support of 31 partners and resources, while workshops have been created for this project.
The Emirates Airlines launched a program to update and renew the fleet of 120 aircraft, including 67 Airbus A380 and 53 Boeing 777 aircraft.
In May 2024, Emirates Airlines announced the addition of 43 other Airbus A380 and 28 Boeing 777 aircraft for its program to update the fleet of its aircraft, bringing the total number of aircraft subject to the program to 191 aircraft.
At the beginning of this March, Emirates Airlines expanded in the fleet renewal program, bringing the number of aircraft that the carrier intends to update to 220 aircraft.
According to Emirates Airlines, the expansion of the update program would ensure the continued carrier in providing its customers with a comfortable travel experience, as Boeing 777 aircraft forms the backbone of the Emirates Airlines fleet, while the preferred Airbus A380 is a favorite of customers.
