A 4.4 -magnitude earthquake shakes Napoli neighborhoods in southern Italy and citizens rush to the streets

A 4.4 -magnitude earthquake occurred on the Richter scale in the city of Naples, southern Italy, described as the strongest since the beginning of this year. The Italian Institute for Geophysics and Barakin said in a statement issued today, Thursday, that the earthquake occurred at a depth of about 2 kilometers in the Camp Fleejri area, and was felt by all Napoli neighborhoods. A number of buildings were damaged in the Camp Fleejri area, and no serious injuries were reported. The competent authorities issued a decision to close schools and activate the reception areas.
