Dubai’s discrimination supports the condemnation of “Nishan” by “Yasmine Ezz” .. and punishing him with a fine

The Dubai Court of Cassation upheld a ruling ruled by the Court of First Class and supported by the Court of Appeal to condemn the Lebanese journalist Nashan Dirghanian on charges of publicly insulting the Egyptian media, Yasmine Ezz, and fined him 10 thousand dirhams.

The incident started when it was scheduled to collect a dialogue session between Nishan and Yasmine within the activities of the Arab Media Forum, but it was late to appear on time.

The situation between them escalated after that, which led her to edit a communication against him, and the lawsuit was circulated before the Dubai courts, and a first degree against him was issued on April 29, 2024 by punishing him with a fine of 10 thousand dirhams, for the public charge assigned to him, and the civil lawsuit was referred to the competent court without expenses.

Nishan was not satisfied with the primary ruling, and he appealed against him before the Court of Appeal, but the court refused to appeal it and ruled on September 3 to support the appealed judgment.

The two primary and appellate rulings did not accept it as well, so the appeal against the Court of Cassation, which brought the curtain on March 5 to the case in the case, supported his conviction and punishing him with a fine.

It is noteworthy that a debate between the two parties continued for a period through their accounts on social media platforms, and a subsequent judicial escalation occurred in their countries about the same incident.
