Abu Dhabi Police organizes the Ramadan Community Police Forum
Abu Dhabi, March 13 / WAM / The Community Police Department in Abu Dhabi Police is organizing the activities of the ninth Ramadan Forum entitled “The Year of Society”, at the Mill Security Awareness Center and continues until March 16 to embody the goals of the “General Society 2025” and within the constant interest in enhancing the spirit of cooperation and solidarity, and emphasizing the importance of community initiatives during the holy month.
Major General Mohamed Suhail Al -Rashdi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector, during the opening of the forum, stressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police to enhance cooperation with partners with the aim of making society happy and enhancing the quality of life, explaining that the forum comes within the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police in achieving its vision that the emirate becomes a world leader in sustaining security and safety and in the context of its continuous interest in upgrading the services provided to the public and making them happy, and standing on their needs and expectations from the services of the police centers.
Brigadier Dr. Hamoud Saeed Al -Afari, Director of the Community Police Department, said that the Abu Dhabi Police is organizing the forum annually within its interest and keenness to increase societal interdependence, build partnerships, extend bridges of communication and cooperation and exchange experiences with strategic partners and various institutions and public and private bodies, through security programs and social and educational initiatives that establish a safer society.
He pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Police is keen to introduce societal and preventive efforts with the aim of encouraging community members to cooperate in preserving security and stability gains and enhancing positive values in order to achieve leadership aspirations in improving and developing police work in accordance with best global practices.
The forum program included honoring the strategic partners in appreciation of their efforts in cooperating with the Abu Dhabi Police to achieve the goals and aspirations of the community in addition to interest in spreading the values of happiness and consolidating them in society.
A number of internal and external partners participated in the forum and about 10 productive families, and the Abu Dhabi Police Music Ensemble presented at the opening ceremony a group of national and heritage performances. The K9 Security Inspection Department also participated in presenting police dogs and the forum included cultural, social, security and heritage competitions, discussion dialogues from the partners, lectures and workshops.
Within the activities accompanying the forum, the Ramadan societal police championship in Abu Dhabi was launched, with the participation of 10 teams distributed over two groups, from residential neighborhoods and witnessed great competition and enthusiasm among the players amid encouraging the people of the region.
