Zelinski accuses Putin of manipulating the idea of a ceasefire

Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski described the conditions set by Russian President Vladimir Putin to agree to the ceasefire as “manipulation.”
“Putin does not dare to tell US President Donald Trump in public he wants to continue the war,” Zellinski said in his evening message.
He continued: “For this reason, they connect in Moscow the idea of a ceasefire with conditions that make it impossible or postpone it for as long as possible.”

A trick from Putin

This is just a trick from Putin, who does everything in his power to delay or prevent the practical implementation of the endowment, rather than saying no directly.
Putin had linked during a press conference the approval of Moscow to the ceasefire on certain conditions, and expressed doubts about the possibility of monitoring this endowment.
On the other hand, Zelinski again stressed Ukraine’s willingness to temporarily stop the fighting, and explained that Kiev accepted the ceasefire proposal because the United States expressed its willingness to monitor it, noting that the American capabilities make this already possible.

Trump is satisfied with the talks

US President Donald Trump expressed his satisfaction with the first talks by an American delegation in Moscow to discuss the war in Ukraine.
In a meeting with the Secretary -General of NATO “NATO” Mark Route in Washington, on Thursday, Trump spoke of “news that things are going well in Russia.”
President Trump said that the American envoy Stephen Witkeov is in Moscow to conduct “very serious discussions” with Russian President Vladimir Putin and others.

Putin conditions

On Thursday, President Putin expressed his approval in principle on an American suggestion for a 30 -day ceasefire in Ukraine, but he said that the conditions should work, and stressed that he should pave the way for a permanent peace.
“The idea itself is correct, and we are definitely supporting it, but there are issues that we need to research, and I think we need to discuss it,” Putin said at a press conference in Moscow.
