Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid institutions organize an event "Giving sustainability draws a smile"
Al -Ain, March 14/ WAM/ The institutions of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, cultural and educational, organized the event “Sustainability of Giving draws a smile” under the patronage of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Muhammad bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the institutions.
The event included a collective breakfast of orphans and people of determination, in order to enhance the values of giving and volunteering with wide participation from different groups of society, in line with the “Year of Society” by supporting institutional and societal initiatives, and enhancing the values of social interdependence and solidarity between members of society.
A large number of governmental and private institutions participated in the event, and included a group of entertainment and educational activities, most notably the shooting corner presented by the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, and the small paramedic car presented by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority and included in children’s competitions organized by the Ain Traffic Department with prizes and pillars for power games, chess, competitions, and on the face.
On its part, the Women’s Association for the Homeland participated in entertainment activities and competitions on the stage, with the activation of the craft heritage corner, which included workshops for craftsmen and shows for heritage products.
The students of the Emirates University contributed to providing technical workshops with the activation of the Shamma Council for thought as a platform for dialogue and societal interaction.
