“Salik” warns of false ads for “celebrities” due to investment

Salik warned against falling into the trap of false ads on websites and digital platforms due to investing in the company, and indicated that the fraudsters usually resort to this method to lure customers. She confirmed the incorrectness of all the ads circulated and attributed to celebrities on social media under the pretext of providing rewarding investment opportunities in “Salik”.

And “Emirates Today” monitored the spread of a number of ads attributed to the company “Salik” on social media, which calls for investing in intermediaries, using a group of celebrities and public figures.

In detail, Salik told «Emirates Today»: “We have noticed recently the spread of many false ads on websites, digital platforms and social media that target individuals wishing to invest in (Salik), and is trying to deliver them that it provides them with investment opportunities in the company.”

She added: “We closely follow this issue, and do everything in our power to protect our customers, and members of society in general from the fraudulent activities that use the name (Salik) illegally.”

She continued: «The fraudsters usually resort to advertisements on social media, sending links via text messages and email, and we call on investors to ignore and report suspicious advertisements and links, and refrain from opening them and responding to them, and customers can communicate with us through our official website to verify the validity of any messages or advertisements.

“Salik” called on investors to be careful and cautious about these suspicious ads, and to use the approved links for “Salik” services available through its website, in addition to applying the company’s investors’ relationships, which was recently launched to ensure a safe, transparent and easy to access and communicate with investors.

As for the advertisements circulating for investing in “Salik”, which is attributed to celebrities on social media platforms, the company confirmed that all of these ads regarding investing in “Salik”, pointing out that these ads are false and the company has not been done by any link, and it is nothing more than suspicious attempts that the fraudsters resort to luring the public under the pretext of providing rewarding investment opportunities.

She explained that in response to this, the company, in cooperation with several parties, followed the necessary legal ways that enabled it to close a large number of these ads, but the fraudsters resort to creating new suspicious ads continuously. In the same context, Salik Company affirmed its keenness to enhance the awareness of community members about fraudulent activities and ways to avoid falling victim to it, and introducing them to the official channels to obtain the services of “Salik”, and apply the company’s investors’ relations that provide innovative basic channels to communicate with the investment community, which allows investors the process of accessing the company’s information at any time and from anywhere via mobile phone, pointing out to renew its commitment to provide information The right to the public, and its keenness to fulfill the highest transparency criteria to ensure a safe experience of its customer base.

The company warned potential investors on its Instagram page, against interacting with misleading messages that claim to provide investment opportunities, and called for relying only on official channels and approved platforms, especially the application of the Dubai Financial Market or through one of the licensed brokers.
