National cadres enhance their presence in the tourism sector during Ramadan

UAE cadres continue to enhance their presence in the tourism sector, taking advantage of the accelerated growth witnessed by this vital sector in the country.

National competencies play a major role in advancing tourism growth and supporting a sustainable tourism building strategy led by the people of the homeland.

The talented Emirati cadres occupy a set of tasks within the tourism and hospitality sector, supported by the resettlement policies that enable them and enhance their participation in the sector.

The Emirati cadres competitiveness council represented by the “Enforcement” program, along with the relevant authorities, is keen to attract national competencies and rehabilitate them to lead the tourism development process, which contributes to providing an authentic tourism experience that reflects the identity and heritage of the state.

With the Ramadan events leading the tourist scene, during the holy month, the Emirates play a pivotal role in highlighting the cultural heritage and promoting the unique Emirati values ​​based on generosity and tolerance within the frameworks of tourism, by overseeing heritage events and receiving tourists in historical sites and Ramadan councils, especially their effective contribution to organizing “fasting breakfast” campaigns in various parts of the country that reflect customs The authentic Ramadan and the spirituality of the holy month.

The UAE pays great attention to developing and qualifying national cadres to work in the tourism sector, through a set of specialized training programs that enhance their skills and provide them with competitive professional opportunities, and a number of trainees in the tourism sector participated in this framework in Ramadan events hosted by various historical and tourism centers in the country.

Aisha Al -Muhairi, a trainee in one of the cultural centers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, said that Ramadan events are an ideal opportunity for Emirati cadres to acquire knowledge and professional experiences through continuous communication with visitors to the activities of the tourism sector, especially religious ones, pointing to their daily participation in organizing fasting breakfast campaigns that enhance the spirit of giving and community cohesion.

Al -Muhairi emphasized that participation within the team of organization and supervision of collective breakfast meals in the mosques of the emirate, enhances cultural communication with the various nationalities residing in the state, noting its additional tasks of guiding tourists in cultural tours that reflect the Emirati customs and traditions.

For her part, Wadima Al -Kaabi, a trained guide in one of the museums of Al Ain City, pointed to the continuous support from the rational leadership to provide the opportunity for Emirati competencies to be at the forefront of cultural and tourism activities to represent the authentic Emirati heritage, stressing that the growing presence of citizens in this vital sector reflects the successes of the resettlement policies based on providing competencies with the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance the tourism sector starting from training to employment to employment.

Al -Kaabi talked about its role in leading tourist tours weekly to the visitors of the state, which enables it to expand the communication skills that qualify it to occupy the position of leadership and supervisory, stressing the great arrival witnessed by tourism and cultural destinations in the city during the qualitative Ramadan events that support the target of the national tourism strategy 2031.

The state continues its efforts to empower citizens within the tourism sector, by launching training initiatives, and motivating young people to join qualitative functions, which ensures that the Emirati excellence continues to provide an exceptional tourism experience, reflecting the richness of the national identity, and devotes the state’s position a destination that celebrates culture and traditions with a global vision.

Dubai Tourism College of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, in cooperation with Marriott International, launched a new vocational training program for state citizens that gives the participants practical experience in the hospitality sector through theoretical and practical training in leading hotel facilities.

Besides, the Consultative Council for Hospitality discussed last February the possibility of providing a new tourism training program, “Summer Hospitality Camps”, which aims to enhance Emiratization and involve youth in tourism professions in the country.
