The Arab League welcomes the agreement of Armenia and Azerbaijan

The Arab League welcomed the announcement of a peace agreement between Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and considered that this represents a necessary and important step towards ending the conflict between the two countries and achieving permanent peace in the Caucasus region. A final and comprehensive peace agreement for all contentious issues between the two countries, stressing that diplomatic dialogue is the only solution to this long conflict.
