We will not deploy American forces in Syria, but we will protect minorities diplomatically and economically

US Vice President GD Verse warned of extremist Islamic groups, and stressed the importance of protecting minorities against the background of the events in the Syrian coast recently..
He said in an interview with “Fox News” that the US administration should “remember with those who deal in Syria and they must ensure the protection of these historical societies there.”
He continued: “What happened to minorities in Syria recently seems very bad and we are trying to determine the bad thing. We are trying to find out whether the minorities in Syria were exposed to a limited accident or genocide.”
He added: “We are talking to our allies and doing unannounced things to protect minorities in Syria, such as Christians and Druze.”
Di Vans pointed out that Washington will not send forces to Syria, but there is a lot that can be done diplomatically and economically to protect minorities.
He said: “Our invasions of Iraq destroyed one of the greatest historical Christian societies in the world. We do not want to allow the destruction of a Christian group again.”
