"DP and Record charitable" 360 thousand meals are distributed during Ramadan

Dubai, March 16 / WAM / The DB World Charity Foundation, the charitable arm of the Dubai Ports Group “DP and Reeld”, expanded the “breakfast tent” that was launched on the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The DB World will be distributed through four tents distributed on selected sites for workers who benefit from the charitable campaign 12,000 breakfasts per day, bringing the total meals to more than 360 thousand meals in the holy month.
The initiative aims to provide support to workers from more than 200 nationalities in the Jabal Ali Free Zone, and celebrate the diversity and enhance the values of interconnection between the segments of society.
His Excellency Nasser Abdullah, CEO and Deputy Chairman of the DB World Charitable Foundation, said, the campaign is part of the numerous humanitarian and societal programs implemented by the Foundation, which aims to ensure that needy societies, especially workers in Jafza, for example, obtain vital food aid during the holy month in the context of our efforts to enhance charitable work and societal integration.
Latifa Al -Qamzi, Director General of the DB World Charity Foundation said that the campaign is part of a large group of activities in Dubai, which highlights the leading position of the emirate as the best city in the world to live and visit.
