A new crew arrives at the International Space Station in preparation for the return of the stuck astronauts
More than one day after its launch, the SpaceX capsule arrived at the International Space Station, on Sunday, carrying two alternatives to the suspended astronauts of NASA.
The four new arrivals, who represent the United States, Japan and Russia, will spend the next few days learn the specifications of the station from the Bush Wilmor and Sony Williams.
Then the two will ascend to their SpaceX’s private capsule later this week to end an unexpected extended task that started last June.
Starlaner capsule problems
Willmur and Williams were expected to spend only one week when they set out on the first space of “Boeing”, but they completed 9 months earlier in the current Marsi.
The Boeing “Starlaner” capsule faced many problems, to the point that NASA insisted that it be empty.
The astronaut opened the Poach Wilmor, the space station, then the spacecraft bell knocked, while the new coming pioneers entered one after the other, and they were received with hugs and shaking hands.
“It was a great day, it’s great seeing our friends praying,” space pioneer, Sony Williams, told the control center.
11 astronaut
And if the weather allows, the capsule of the “SpaceX”, which is carrying on board Willore, Williamose, is the end of the other space, will separate from the International Space Station early Tuesday, and will go off the coast of the US state of Florida later in that evening.
Until then, there will be 11 astronauts on the tropical laboratory, representing the United States, Russia and Japan.
