321 infections and 41 deaths… strain developments "Bundibugyo" From Ebola in Congo

Organization spokesman Christian Lindmeier said: "The number of deaths related to the outbreak reached 41, while six infected people recovered from the disease"adding that Uganda in turn recorded nine confirmed infections and one death related to the virus, in light of the health authorities’ continued efforts to contain its spread.

Strain "Bundibugyo"

The African Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced last May 15 an outbreak of the strain "Bundibugyo" of the Ebola virus, marking the seventeenth outbreak of the disease in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
