The Japanese Meteorology said today, Tuesday, that the typhoon, which is the sixth this season, is moving northeast toward Kyushu after passing near Okinawa, as it resulted in a widespread power outage that affected about 48,000 families in Kagoshima and Okinawa prefectures until the morning hours, in addition to the cancellation of more than 300 flights, most of which were to and from Kyushu.

Landslide warnings

It reported that the typhoon was present until the afternoon. About 110 kilometers west-southwest of Yakushima Island, advancing at a speed of approximately 35 kilometers per hour, accompanied by winds of up to 126 kilometers per hour.
Japanese meteorology warned of the possibility of a Landslides and floods in low-lying areas and river floods, in addition to areas of western Japan until tomorrow, Wednesday, as a result of strong winds and accompanying heavy rains.
