“Identity and citizenship” controls violators of residence and work for others without permission

The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security announced that it has implemented 252 inspection campaigns at the level of the UAE during last February, to control violators under the slogan “Towards a Safety Society”, with the aim of enhancing commitment to laws and legislations regulating the establishment and work of foreigners in the country.
The campaigns searched about 4,771 establishments during the aforementioned month, and a group of violators of the entry and residence of foreigners and work for others was seized without permission from the competent government agencies.
The Director General of the Authority, Major General Suhail Saeed Al -Khaili, said that the authority is committed to the application of the law and enhances the commitment of all parties to the approved legislation and regulations to protect the security of society and maintain its stability, while maintaining the rights of all parties and working to provide a decent life for those who want to live and work in the UAE within the framework of the law.
He pointed out that the commission has taken legal measures with the violators who are seized and transferred to the competent judicial authorities, and the implementation of the rulers issued by the signing of fines on the violators and those who operate them or harbor them and remove those who decide the Public Prosecution to remove them from the violators.
He stressed that the law of entry and residence of foreigners granted the authority to the authority to carry out inspection campaigns to ensure that the law and decisions issued in implementation and follow the procedures established to seize the violators and those who operate them or accommodate them in violation of the law, noting that the list of violations that violate the seized during the month of February 2025 committed it includes employing foreigners without permission, whether they are infiltrated or submitted from a contract or contract A guarantor of the foreigner in violation of the laws and regulations in force in this regard, and those who do not operate the foreigners who apply to the state to work within a contractual relationship in accordance with the law of regulating labor relations and leave them to work for others, as well as those associated with a work contract but they work for others.

His Excellency added that within the framework of the inspection campaigns for the month of February, another citizen of Asian citizenship was seized and referred to the competent prosecution on charges of employing 12 foreign workers without an official ear, as the competent court ruled to fined the citizen and Asian amount of 600 thousand dirhams in solidarity, with the violating workers being fined 1000 dirhams and removing them from the state.
His Excellency the Director General of the Authority urged all segments of society in the UAE to adhere to what was stated in the law of entry and residence of foreigners in the country when recruiting or employing foreigners, and not employing foreigners who have no contractual relationship or those who have another foreign guarantor, stressing that the authority will not tolerate violators and apply the law to them, in a way that contributes to supporting the march of growth and maintains the stability of society, and protects all groups from fall In the law.
