"Emirates Media"Zayed Day for Humanitarian Age
Abu Dhabi, March 18 / WAM / His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al -Shehhi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Media Council, said that the day of Zayed Humanitarian Action represents an occasion in which we renew the fulfillment of the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who made the giving a fixed approach and established a global model in humanitarian work; His vision has become an integrated system of projects and initiatives that made a positive change in the lives of millions of people, and established the UAE’s position as a country that embraces the values of goodness and tolerance.
He added that the values of Sheikh Zayed are still present in the Emirates march, as humanitarian work has become an essential component of its identity and an approach adopted by the state with its initiatives and development projects that reach more than 100 countries around the world.
He stressed that this approach has strengthened the UAE’s position among the largest countries in support of relief and development work, to reflect their permanent commitment to the support of peoples and support their stability and prosperity.
He added that the day of Zayed for humanitarian work is an affirmation of the continuity of the good message that laid out its founding pillars, and consolidating the principles of cooperation, as the UAE continues its pioneering role in spreading the values of tolerance and giving, so that its name remains a symbol of humanitarian work and an icon for good that extends its effects to different parts of the world.
