The UAE Parliamentary Division participates in the Conference of the Council of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Indonesia
Abu Dhabi, May 9/ WAM/ The delegation of the Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council will participate in the Federation of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, headed by His Excellency Dr. Adnan Hamad Al Hammadi in the work of the nineteenth session of the Union Conference, hosted by the Indonesian House of Representatives in the capital, Jakarta, during the period from 12 to 15 May, under the slogan: “The Silver Jubilee of the Islamic Union: sound governance and powerful institutions as a For flexibility.
The delegation of the Emirati parliamentary Division includes in its membership, His Excellency: Walid Ali Al -Mansouri, Vice President of the Group, Hamid Ahmed Al -Tayer, Sumaya Abdullah Al -Suwaidi, and Mona Rashid Tahnoun, members of the Federal National Council, and Dr. Omar Abdul Rahman Al -Nuaimi, Secretary -General of the Council.
The delegation will participate on the sidelines of the conference, in the coordination meeting of the Gulf legislative councils, and in the consultative meeting of the Arab Group.
The members of the office, which includes the Presidents of the President, will be elected from the Arab and Asian groups, the adoption of the agenda and the program of this session, to see the report of the Secretary -General, the words of the heads of parliaments, the heads of the participating delegations, the approval of the report of the twenty -sixth session of the Federation’s General Committee, and the reports of the meetings of the Federation’s Executive Committee.
The conference committees and agencies will hold their meetings, the Political Affairs and External Relations Committee, the Human Rights, Women and Family Committee, the Cultural and Legal Affairs Committee and Dialogue of Civilizations and Religions, the Economic and Environmental Affairs Committee, the Executive Committee, the General Secretariat Association, the Palestine Committee, and the Muslim Communities and Minorities Committee.
The twelfth session of the Muslim Parliamentary Conference will be held, and the final report of the Jakarta Declaration, issued by the nineteenth session of the Union Conference.
