Abu Dhabi, May 9 / WAM / Khawla hosts art and culture, “Totim” exhibition, a contemporary artistic experience that celebrates cultural diversity and creative expression through the view of the international designer Grazina Soland, the Foundation and Creative Director of Sollands, who specializes in creating artistic and design projects linking traditional and contemporary crafts.
The exhibition, which was launched yesterday at the Khawla headquarters of art and culture in Abu Dhabi, represents a completion of the Sollands March in creating artistic experiences that combine identity and design, as it presents an interactive series of works with the participation of a group of artists from the Middle East and North Africa: Hind Rashid, Ghalia Clagi, Ghaleb Hawail, Ihab Ahmed, Nidal Khaddour, Nawar Sharetouh, Sahar Ghafami, Youssef Yassin and Reem Al Mazrouei.
And every work of individual art tablets has been formed by artists with methods that express their experiences and cultural identities to be assembled under the supervision of Grazina Soland and the Sollands team in unique tensions that reflect the concepts of collective identity and the common memory, as these tensions embody visual and material dialogues that mix local heritage and contemporary technologies in a step that expresses the commitment Pushing the design limits towards new horizons of interaction and innovation.
