Omar bin Zayed: The founding father laid the rules of solidarity and cooperation between nations
Abu Dhabi, March 19 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, stressed that the founding father of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, laid the rules of solidarity and cooperation between nations and peoples, and made humanitarian work an essential part of the identity and culture of the Emirates.
On the occasion of the celebration of Zayed Day, His Highness said: “The founding leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has established a distinct humanitarian approach based on giving without borders, and made the UAE a global center for charitable and relief work, bypassing the geographical borders to reach all parts of the earth.”
His Highness added: “The UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, has become at the forefront of countries that do not hesitate to provide humanitarian aid, and provide support to those in need everywhere around the world, through its various humanitarian projects, on the path and values of the founder in giving and human solidarity.”
