The Emirates Red Crescent Authority launches the Eid clothing project in Hadramout Governorate

Mukalla on March 19 / WAM / The Emirates Red Crescent Authority launched yesterday in the city of Mukalla in Hadramout Governorate, its annual charitable project to distribute Eid clothing to children with determination, orphans, and families in need.

This project comes within the framework of the efforts made by the United Arab Emirates in Hadramout, as a contribution to alleviating citizens and drawing a smile on their faces, as the project continues until the end of the holy month.

The inauguration was attended by Omar Al -Amoudi, Deputy Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Hadramout coast, Sheikh Obaid bin Kardous Al -Tamimi, President of Bin Kordos Commercial Group, and Engineer Hamid Salem Qahaya, supervisor of the authority’s projects in the governorate at the Yazidi Plaza Center at the Mukalla Mall Center.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of the” Eid Kassawa ‘project in Hadramout Governorate for the year 1446 AH – 2024 in the context of the ongoing efforts made by the United Arab Emirates to support needy families and provide joy and happiness on the occasion of Eid Al -Fitr.

Al -Shamsi stressed that the project aims to distribute the Eid clothing to 7,525 beneficiaries, as 1075 purchases will be offered with a value of 200 dirhams per coupon in several commercial centers in the governorate, with the aim of reducing the economic burden and introducing a smile and joy at the hearts of the beneficiaries.

Al -Shamsi pointed out that this project comes with the support of the United Arab Emirates, through the Red Crescent Authority in Hadramout, to compensate the children for the negative economic effects of the Yemeni crisis, especially those who have children who need special care, or those families who lost their breadwinner, and have become burdened with orphaned children, who are looking for those who compensate them even with a part of what they lost.

In turn, Omar Al -Amoudi, Deputy Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Hadramout coast, thanked the Emirates Red Crescent Authority for launching the Eid clothing project, which aims to provide new and suitable clothes for children, which enhances their joy and joy during Eid Al -Fitr.

He stressed that the initiatives of the humanitarian body mean a lot to the children of Hadramout, and contribute greatly to alleviating the burdens on the shoulders of the citizens.

Al -Amoudi also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for its contribution to achieving joy and pleasure for the families benefiting in the city of Mukalla and its environs, alleviating the burdens on needy families, and bringing pleasure into the hearts of children.

For their part, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the United Arab Emirates and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority for their continuous support and their contribution to lifting their suffering, and they extended a lot of thanks and gratitude for the leadership of the wise state, which put their needs in mind, and initiated the smile on their faces through this leading social initiative in distributing the Eid clothing.
