More than 130 entries in the Ras Al Khaimah Social Excellence Award

Ras Al Khaimah, 3 April / WAM / The organizing committee of the Social Excellence Award, organized by the Emirates Society for Social Development in Ras Al Khaimah, concluded the work of evaluating the entries in its fifth session after attracting more than 130 entries from individuals and institutions, distributed across its various categories in an indicator that reflects the growing culture of societal excellence and the expansion of the circle of qualitative initiatives in the country.

In its current session, the award includes 12 main categories covering multiple areas of social work and community creativity, including outstanding social personality, inspiring youth model, technological innovation for social purposes, best community initiative, and social digital content, reflecting the diversity of entries and the richness of the experiences presented.

Khalaf Salem Bin Anbar, Director General of the Association and Chairman of the Award’s Organizing Committee, stressed that the qualitative turnout for the Award reflects a growing awareness among members of society of their role in the development process, and reflects the fruits of the vision of the wise leadership that established community cohesion as a solid value in the UAE, pointing out that every distinct initiative represents a building block in building the nation, and every innovative idea is an investment in the future of society.

He added that the award goes towards establishing an integrated system of community work based on innovation and sustainability, by enabling individuals and institutions to develop initiatives that have a real impact, enhancing the UAE’s position as a global model in social development.

The award is one of the qualitative initiatives that contribute to enhancing the spirit of positive competition, encouraging community innovation, and consolidating the values ​​of social responsibility, in line with the country’s trends towards building a cohesive and sustainable society.
