المملكة: Urgent: Meteorology: A technical glitch disrupts early warning and forecasts of continuous thunderstorms

The National Center announced For Meteorology, today, Friday, the “Early Warning System” was exposed to a temporary technical defect that hindered the broadcast of automatic alerts via the “X” platform, confirming the work of its teams to address it amid the continuing rainfall in several areas.
The center explained that the technical teams are continuing their intensive efforts to fix this emergency malfunction and restore the automated broadcast service for alerts as soon as possible.
It stressed the need to follow the approved official channels to obtain Light to moderate thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds that stir up dirt and dust.
He indicated that the climate impacts would extend to include large parts of the southern, western and northern regions of the Kingdom, all the way to parts of the central region.
He indicated that the weather condition covers the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Medina, and extends to include Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the northern borders, Hail, Al-Qassim and Riyadh.
The center concluded its report. Emphasizing the comprehensiveness of the situation in the northern parts of the eastern region, pointing out the continued monitoring of weather developments around the clock.
