The African Development Bank funds 38 projects in Cote d’Ivoire with a value of 1883 billion African francs

Abidjan on March 22 / WAM / The African Development Bank announced that its portfolio in Cote d’Ivoire has witnessed significant growth since 2015, an increase of more than 500 percent, as the active portfolio of the bank group in Cote d’Ivoire is currently 38 projects, with a total cover of 1883 billion African francs.
This was announced by the Director General of the West Africa region of the African Development Bank Group, as reported by the media, during a working meeting yesterday in Abidjan devoted to the main review of the projects funded by the African Development Bank in Cote d’Ivoire organized by the Ivorian government with officials from the bank with the aim of enabling the two parties to study all ongoing projects in a transparent way in order to rationalize the use of the financing granted by the African Bank for Development, evaluating the progress made, and thus, thus Determine the challenges to be raised in order to improve the impact of these investments.
He explained that the African Development Bank continues to play a major role in the development of Côte d’Ivoire, by supporting projects that have a direct impact on the lives of millions of Ivorians, especially in the areas of infrastructure, energy, digital technology and agriculture.
