During the meeting, the dangerous developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank were discussed, the ceasefire agreement and the return of Israel to the military escalation. The role that the European Union can play in cooperation with the Arab -Islamic Ministerial Communications Committee has been discussed on the work to bring peace in the region and stop the cycle of murder and destruction.

A statement was issued on the meeting that included the demand for an immediate return to the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement and the release of prisoners and detainees, in which Qatar, Egypt and the United States mediated, and refused to displace the Palestinians from their lands, and the committee stressed the need to make progress towards its second phase with the aim of implementing it completely, and stopping hostilities permanently, and also included the call for full respect for international humanitarian law and international law, and the need to open all crossings To ensure the entry of humanitarian aid in an extensive and continuous way to the various parts of the sector, which suffers from an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.

The committee again affirmed its full commitment to a political solution to the Palestinian -Israeli conflict on the basis of a two -state solution, as Israel and Palestine live side by side in peace and security, and pave the way for a permanent peace and coexistence between all the peoples of the region.
