US President Donald Trump said today that countries that are dissatisfied with the rise in fuel prices should “go get their own oil,” in light of Iran’s continued control over the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump added in a post on the “Truth Social” platform: “To all the countries that cannot obtain fuel due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, such as Britain, which refused to interfere in weakening Iran, I have a suggestion for you: buy from the United States, we have enough, or go to the Strait and seize it.”
He continued: “You will have to start learning how to defend yourselves, because the United States will no longer be there to help you, just as you were not there to help it.”
He stressed: “Iran has been destroyed, basically. The hardest part is over. Go and get your oil yourself.”
