The head of state receives a phone call from the Russian President

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, received a phone call from His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, during which they discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance and develop it, within the framework of the strategic partnership that brings the two countries together and to serve their common interests … affirming their keenness to continue to strengthen these relations at various levels in a way that is good for their people.

President Vladimir Putin expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the President of the State for the successful mediation efforts made by the UAE during the last period regarding the exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine, the last of which was during the month of March..and His Highness expressed his thanks for the cooperation that the Russian government with the UAE in this regard and which had an important role in the success of its efforts..and affirming His Highness the state’s keenness to continue making more effort This important human aspect and support all endeavors aimed at the success of the efforts made to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis and alleviate its repercussions and the human effects resulting from it.

His Highness the President of the State and the Russian President also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern .. In this context, His Highness affirmed the UAE’s steadfast approach to supporting work for peace and stability in the world, as well as paying peaceful solutions and initiatives for conflicts and conflicts.

The UAE announced on the 19th of March of this month the success of its mediation efforts The Russian Federation and the Republic of Ukraine in the completion of the process of exchanging a new war prisoner that included 175 prisoners from the Ukrainian side and 175 prisoners from the Russian side with a total of 350 prisoners, bringing the total number of prisoners who were exchanged between the two countries during 13 mediation to 3,233 prisoners.
