Ajman, on March 24 / WAM / The Emirates Golf Federation, and the global “Hotel Branner” tour, announced the hosting of the round of the round for the third year in a row, with a two championships: “The UAE Challenge” at the Zawra Club of Golf and Yakhut in Ajman during the period from 10 to 13 April, and “Abu Dhabi Challenge” at Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club, from April 17 to 20, with prizes of 300 thousand dollars per USA per each. Championship.
The two championships are held in a busy calendar for the “Hotl Branner” tour for this year, with 29 championships across 3 continents in 18 countries.
The players will compete for the total financial prizes of 9 million euros this season, as the minimum financial prizes in each European championship reaches 300 thousand euros.
The competition also extends to win the first positions in the classification of this round, in order to win the cards of participation in the “DB World” tour next year.
Freddy Shamiser, director of the tournament and business development in the Middle East, said that the challenge championships in the UAE are achieving great success in year after year, expressing his appreciation for the joining of Al -Zawra Club of Golf and Yacht to host one of the championships this year, with expectations with the participation of players representing about 30 countries.
In turn, Mohamed Al -Naji, director of the Emirates Challenge Championship, expressed his aspiration that the joining of Al -Zawra and Yacht Club would be important support in efforts to develop and spread golf in the Emirates, praising the club’s advanced infrastructure.
