The Crown Prince of Sharjah chairs the meeting of the Sharjah Academy of Police Sciences Council

Sharjah, March 24/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Academy of Police Sciences, chaired this evening, “Monday”, the meeting of the council held at the Academy’s headquarters in the university city.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness welcomed the members of the Council, stressing the importance of continuing to work on developing the academy and upgrading the level of training programs to qualify police cadres according to the highest standards, in a way that contributes to achieving the academy’s goals and future vision.

His Highness appreciated the keenness of the council members and workers in the academy to continuously develop and tireless work, their dedication and devotion in implementing plans and initiatives that enhance the status of the academy as a leading institution in the police field.

During its meeting, the Council discussed a number of vital topics aimed at developing academic performance and enhancing training programs and upgrading the quality of education and training in the academy.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed a set of issues on the agenda, most notably the training programs implemented in cooperation with a number of specialized local and international bodies, which aim to enhance the exchange of experiences, improve the skills of police cadres and develop the training system.

The Council also discussed the development of student registration operations in undergraduate programs and graduate studies in a way that contributes to facilitating admission procedures and keeping pace with technical developments in this field.

The Council reviewed the developments of the implementation of emergency medicine courses and the adoption of the academy as an accredited regional center to implement these programs, with the aim of enhancing the readiness of cadres in dealing with emergency situations according to the best international standards.

The meeting also dealt with the plans and proposals submitted to support national competencies and qualify them to play its role in strengthening the police education system, developments related to the work progress in the academy and discussing future plans to enhance the quality of education and training.

The meeting was attended by Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander -in -Chief of Sharjah Police, Vice -President of the Council, and the members, Brigadier Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, Brigadier Ghanem Khamis Al -Houli, Salem Obaid Al -Hoss Al -Shamsi, Sultan Ali bin Butti Al -Muhairi, Sultan Muhammad Obaid Al -Hajri, and Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Khamis Al -Othmani, Director General of the Academy, and Colonel Muhammad Hamad Al -Suwaidi, Secretary of the Council.
