"ADNOC" Complement "navigation" The basic structures in my field "Trick" and"Cheat" For marine gas

Abu Dhabi, July 3 / WAM / ADNOC has completed an important stage in the project of developing the “Al -Hayr” and “Augus” giants, through the completion of the process of sailing and installing the basic structures of marine facilities from the manufacturing square of the “NDC Energy” company in the Musfah area in Abu Dhabi.

The structures, known as the “steel jacket”, are the rules of marine facilities in the project, and the first two structures were safely and efficiently transferred from the manufacturing square to the marine shipping wager, according to the approved timetable in line with the highest safety and quality standards, then it was sailed for a distance of 160 km to the sea and was accurately installed at the sea floor by the ship “Sven-3000” of the company NMDC, “NMDC”.

This achievement embodies the level of high coordination and technical efficiency that the project teams and partners have shown, which contributed to securely stabilizing the structures and ensuring their readiness for the next stage of the installation of marine infrastructure.

The project of developing “tricks” and “Augus” is the largest marine gas project in the world, and will contribute to a major role in enabling the UAE to achieve self -sufficiency in gas and support the growth of its exports from this vital resource.

It is expected that the franchise of “Augus” will produce about 1.5 billion standard cubic feet of natural gas daily, which is equivalent to the total daily demand for gas in Ireland, Greece and Portugal combined.

The project aims to reach net zero emissions, by capturing 1.5 million tons annually from carbon dioxide emissions, which is equivalent to removing more than 300,000 cars from roads operating using traditional fuel.

Musabeh Al -Kaabi, CEO of the Exploration, Development and Production Department in ADNOC, said that the project to develop the “tricks” and “cheeks” is one of the important pillars in the UAE’s endeavors to achieve self -sufficiency in gas, and that the completion of the process of sailing the basic structures of the marine facilities of the project is an important step that contributes to achieving its goals, pointing out that the implementation of the project completely contributes to pushing the wheel of industrial growth and promoting The capabilities of the state in the field of advanced manufacturing.

It is noteworthy that the project of developing the “Al -Hail” fields and “Augus” is in line with the goals of the “Maken in the Emirates” initiative, and it embodies the success of “ADNOC” in promoting national content in the industrial sector, by focusing on supporting local industrialization, buying products from suppliers within the country, and supporting the efforts of economic diversification; So far, through the support and development of national competencies, 118 Emirati graduates have been employed within the project, providing important job opportunities for citizens in vital roles within this global project.
