“Health” announces the date for the completion of the National Survey of Health and Nutrition

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection has announced the completion of field work and data collection for the National Health and Nutrition Survey 2024-2025 in cooperation with the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics, health authorities and local statistics centers at the end of this month, to start a stage of revision and analysis of data.
The Ministry’s teams began preparing the draft of the initial report of the National Health and Nutrition Survey, which aims to support planning strategies and national health policies, in a way that contributes to achieving the targets of comprehensive development 2030, and the campaign is a qualitative national project, and the Ministry in cooperation with the partners has prepared the detailed plans for this project from the preparatory stages to the end and the announcement of results, through specialized teams of human competencies with witnessed experiences in addition to employing Advanced technological capabilities and access to international best practices.
Field work is carried out according to the specified timetable, taking care to ensure the accuracy of data and effective coordination between partners to face challenges through innovative planning, time management and effective coordination, so that field works continue with the highest efficiency, and the national campaign for health and nutritional survey is part of a strategic vision aimed at continuing development for a sustainable healthy future in the country, through the use of data collected to draw Effective future health policies that contribute to improving the quality of life for members of society.
The survey aims to update the health and nutrition database of the population, and to measure health performance indicators, to support the improvement policies of the quality of health care services provided to community members, based on accurate and updated data to support health decisions in order to achieve national goals for sustainable development, based on the measurement of many health and social indicators and their dissemination at the state level and the participation of results and data with the World Health Organization.
The national surveys are strengthening plans to develop the health system in an integrated manner based on the accurate results, and the briefing of community members of the results contribute to the consolidation of health awareness, so the Ministry will publish the final results on the open data page on the Ministry of Health and Community Protection website in addition to sharing the results with health institutions in the state.
The Ministry of Health and Community Protection is keen to analyze data using the latest approved technologies, in addition to employing the expertise of specialists in the field of data science, to extract accurate information about the health and nutrition situation in the country, through the best statistical methodologies to study indicators related to chronic diseases, nutrition levels, and healthy lifestyles, which contributes to defining challenges and developing future evidence development plans based on evidence.
