“Jafza” invests 90 million dirhams to expand its logistical complex

Jabal Ali Jafza’s Free Zone revealed yesterday an investment of 90 million dirhams to develop the second phase of its logistical complex, by adding more than 360 thousand square feet that include first -class facilities and facilities.
She stated, in a statement, that this step comes within the framework of the efforts of the UAE to develop its logistical sector, to reach 200 billion dirhams annually during the next seven years, in addition to strengthening Dubai’s pivotal role in the field of international trade. The second phase of the expansion of the “Jafza” logistical complex includes the development of a global infrastructure, which includes modern offices, customizable units, and warehouses that are controlled at the temperature, and loader sidewalks, while improving energy capabilities to support various sectors.
The CEO of Operations, the complexes and free zones of “De Dubai and Reld”, the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Abdullah Al -Hashemi, said that the expansion of the “Javza” logistical complex confirms the commitment to the assistance of companies in the global competition, as well as attracting foreign investments to Dubai.
He added that the first stage was completely rented before its completion, which shows the strong demand for logistical services and high -quality storage services, and the second stage of the complex will meet this demand, as it provides flexible and high -quality solutions to support growth in multiple sectors, and thus the total area of the Javza Logisti complex reaches more than 922 thousand square feet.
The demand for advanced storage services in Dubai is accelerating, and with expectations that indicate the growth of the shipping market and logistical services in the Middle East and Africa to reach 235.8 billion dollars by 2031. This growth is driven by various vital sectors that include manufacturing, logistics and construction services, in addition to the e -commerce sector. The modern expansion of the complex in Javza will contribute to meeting this request.
It is noteworthy that “Jafza” includes 10 thousand and 890 companies from 150 countries, providing more than 160 thousand jobs and contributing at 620 billion dirhams in trade annually.
The first stage of the complex extends over an area of up to 562 thousand and 507 square feet, and includes first -class units for dry storage and medicines, and warehouses that are controlled at the temperature, in addition to office space.
