The municipalities and bodies concerned with public positions in the Emirates, Sharjah and Ajman have identified the mechanism of making positions during the Eid Al -Fitr holiday, stressing that free positions will be applied during the Eid holiday.
The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai confirmed that all public positions will be free during the Eid Al -Fitr holiday period, with the exception of multi -storey situations, from the date of 1 Shawwal to 3 Shawwal, provided that the application of tariffs will be resumed starting from the date of 4 Shawwal.
This comes as Burken begins the application of the flexible tariff policy for vehicle parking in Dubai as of April 4, a policy approved by the Roads and Transport Authority, and aims to apply different tariffs in peak times and outside on all the positions of public vehicles drawn in the company’s portfolio, in addition to approximately 35% of them in the positions of the special areas of developers. The tariff will depend on the type of position (distinctive and regular).
The peak times will be applied for 6 hours a day (from 8 to 10 am from 4 to 8 pm), with the exception of Sunday and official holidays. As for the tariff outside the peak times (from 10 am to 4 pm and from 8 to 10 pm) it will remain unchanged, and will be compatible with the current tariff.
The Dubai Municipality raised the level of readiness in the general beaches to receive visitors and organize the movement on the public beaches during the blessed Eid Al -Fitr holiday, by distributing security cadres and equipment effectively and organizing crowds in the interior, and allocating entry paths for people of determination and the elderly, and the Dubai Municipality also strengthened the readiness of public parks and entertainment facilities to receive visitors during the Eid by organizing various activities and activities Dubai, Children’s City and Great Gardens.
For his part, the Director General of the Municipality of Sharjah, Obaid Saeed Al -Tunaiji, confirmed in press statements yesterday that public positions will be free, the first, second and third days of the holiday, with the exception of the areas subject to fees throughout the week and official holidays, which can be inferred through blue guidelines.
Al -Tunaiji added that the inspection teams will continue to work in monitoring any wrong violations or exploitation of public positions in the city during this period, calling on the public to the need to use positions in the best way and not to abuse them.
Al -Tunaii explained that the Sharjah Gardens are ready to receive the public in light of the distinguished services and beautiful atmosphere in which families and families meet, indicating that the municipality receives notes, reports and inquiries of the public through the call center on the number 993 around the clock.
In turn, the Municipal Department of Planning and Planning in Ajman announced the exemption of all positions subject to fees during the blessed Eid Al -Fitr holiday from the date of 1 Shawwal to 3 Shawwal, provided that work will be resumed on the date of 4 Shawwal.
While the Department of Agriculture and Public Gardens announced the opening of all parks and public facilities during the days of Eid Al -Fitr from the date of 1 Shawwal to 3 Shawwal from 11:00 am until 12:00 am, provided that the Rashidiya Park receives its visitors from 2:00 pm until 12:00 am, indicating that the gardens will witness the establishment of various events.
