"Zayed Humanity " (7) Ramadan programs are implemented inside and outside the country
Abu Dhabi, March 29 / WAM / The Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works has completed the implementation of its Ramadan programs inside and outside the Emirates, which lasted throughout the blessed month of Ramadan 1446 AH, on the path of the approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “May God rest his soul.”
Ramadan initiatives were distributed among 7 programs that included the “Al -Mir Al -Ramadan” program, “fasting breakfast within the state”, “fasting breakfast outside the state”, and the “breaking fast” program, in addition to the distribution of “Ramadan baskets” and “purchasing vouchers” and the “Eid Al -Fitr” program, so that the number of beneficiaries of these programs exceed 750 thousand people.
The Foundation succeeded in implementing the “fasting breakfast” program inside the country in partnership with a number of charitable societies, where its partners entrusted the field implementation of the program, while the process of supervising the implementation took place among 10 sites distributed over the emirates of the state.
The partner charities under the supervision of the Foundation (Saud bin Rashid Al -Mualla Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Foundation for charitable and humanitarian work, Sharjah Charitable Society, the Union Charitable Foundation, and the Fujairah Charitable Society) managed to implement a daily breakfast plan for those who are entitled within the emirates of the state through a direct distribution of breakfast meals before breakfast date or through the establishment of an inclusive breakfast tents for the fasting people And those who are entitled.
Starting with the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Foundation implemented the “Fast breakfast” and “Ramadan baskets distribution” program in more than 13 countries in various continents of the world, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and state embassies abroad with a total number of beneficiaries in excess of 465 thousand beneficiaries and from the countries covered by this program Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Clagdish, Malaysia, Russia, Cosovo, Indonesia and Ethiopia. The Philippines, the Comoros and Brazil.
And on the path of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God bless him” in giving and charity, the Foundation, in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Zayed University of Humanities for Humanities, established a sponsorship partnership with which the Foundation implements many projects over a year in the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in the city of Solo in Indonesia, which benefits more than 190 thousand people.
These programs and projects are summarized in “fasting breakfast” throughout the holy month of Ramadan, the “Eid clothing” project, the “water water” project, and the “dispatching pilgrims” project that are not able.
A team from the Sheikh Zayed Mosque Administration in Solo and a team from the Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works supervised the distribution of daily breakfast meals in the mosque and exceeded the number of beneficiaries of breakfast meals in it from 12 to 15 thousand people per day.
The Foundation also finished implementing the Al -Mir Ramadan program for thousands of families, which numbered about 3,523 families with low incomes and included the basic foodstuffs needed by families in the holy month, in addition to distributing food baskets to needy families to secure the basic needs of the holy month of Ramadan.
The number of beneficiaries of these food baskets reached 20 thousand families, with a total of 40 thousand food baskets, while the number of beneficiaries of the purchasing vouchers program that enables the beneficiaries of the direct purchase of the retail shop reached 13,500 beneficiaries.
The Foundation implemented the “Fasting Fasting” program in a number of sites within its humanitarian initiatives during the month of Ramadan, to facilitate matters on vehicle drivers, and to spare them speed and wheel in driving on the roads to realize breakfast.
The Foundation also completed its program to distribute Eid clothing to the orphans to enter pleasure and joy in about 16 thousand children. In this regard, purchasing vouchers were provided through which children and their families were able to choose the dressing of the feast to celebrate this fragrant occasion.
