Al Ain Aug 4 / WAM / The Animal Zoo strengthened the concept of sustaining the local environment by supporting biological diversity in various environmental systems. The garden maintained the environmental balance and ensuring the plants continuing efficiently by choosing local species carefully such as Sidr, Samar, umbrellas, nervousness, goodness, etc. to live in a consistent and equal environment, and planted more than 214 garden trees throughout the garden to distinguish them Adapting to the most difficult climatic conditions.
The park provided many solutions out of its constant pursuit of sustainability and preserving resources, as the replacement of natural grass in some areas with a mixture of local plants and gravel, and contributed to reducing water consumption and reshaping the surrounding environment to reflect the natural environment of the UAE.
Many differences in the garden are racing to create ways to reuse various parts of these trees, from the branches to pieces of bark, from these parts that are used as food for various animals, including what is used for coordination and beauty and some of them for maintenance.
The park established a bank of seeds to preserve the environmental heritage, as it contains more than 50 species of local and non -local plants that were categorized and stored carefully to ensure their continuity and availability in the future.
