The United Nations Children’s Organization (UNICEF) said that at least 322 children were killed and 609 others were injured in the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire collapsed. She pointed out that most of the victims in the Gaza Strip are the displaced who resorted to temporary tents or affected homes. She added that the comprehensive ban on the entry of supplies to the Gaza Strip exposes civilians, especially a million children, to extreme danger. She emphasized that during the 18 months of the war, more than 15,000 children were killed and more than 34,000 were injured, and a million children were forced to displace.
