King Abdulaziz Public Library in Bologna

The King Abdulaziz Public Library, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, participates in the Bologna International Book Fair 2025, under the umbrella of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, during the period from March 31 – April 3, held at the Exhibition Center (Bologna Vieri) in the Italian city of Bologna.
The library presents its cultural and cognitive projects and cultural programs that are concerned with preserving the Arab and Islamic heritage and making it available to the beneficiaries, and their experience in organizing artistic and cultural exhibitions, displaying new publications, and translated books, in addition to groups of their rare holdings of books, pictures, manuscripts and anecdotes.
It was also presented to visitors from the Italian intellectuals and interested, and the scholarships are a definition of the library’s efforts inside and outside the Kingdom, and glimpses of what you accomplished in caring for the literature of the child and young adults, and the establishment of specialized libraries in these age groups.

Children’s libraries

The library participates in a corner for children’s libraries, as it allows them to see the library’s publications for children of different age groups of stories, reading and interactive activities.
It also works to enrich the global scene with distinct cultural and knowledge projects and programs, and to extend global cultural bridges that are compatible with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision that seeks to link the Saudi cultural scene with what is produced by the achievements of international cultures and civilizations.
The participation of the King Abdulaziz Public Library comes at the Bologna International Book Fair; In order to introduce Saudi culture in its various elements, and emphasize the cognitive, heritage and civilizational values ​​of the Kingdom, and its efforts in preserving and providing and introducing Arab and Islamic heritage.
